Over the summer, we were able to work with Lilac City Roller Derby, a roller derby team based out of Spokane, WA, to get their event live online, and here are their thoughts on their experience working with us:

What problem(s) were you trying to solve with our product or service?

• We wanted to provide a quality viewing option for our fans who couldn’t make our event as well as a re-watch option for our team members. 
• From a marketing standpoint the dynamic livestream with different viewing angles and replays was engaging for our fans and increased our livestream views and interactions.  We had higher live views and comments as well as a drastic increase in our re-watching numbers.  
• From a player standpoint it was fantastic to have high quality video to go back and re-watch for learning and coaching purposes.  The impact the ability to re-watch this footage has on players is invaluable.  

What was your main concern that would have prevented you from contracting our services, and what put your fears to rest?

• As a small non profit cost of live streaming was our number one concern. We were so grateful to learn that ZZ Broadcast Studios has a variety of flexible price plans with customization options that could fit all our needs and coverage into our budget. They provided a great service at a very reasonable price point.  They never made us feel like we were cutting corners or being unreasonable with our budget. The pricing structure was clear and easy to understand and the ability to customize to meet our needs was wonderful. 

What made you happiest about working with our company?

• ZZ Broadcast Studios was so easy to work with.  It’s evident that the owner is incredibly passionate about live streaming and changing the game as far as roller derby broadcasts go. He’s not content to sit by and watch shaky blurry derby footage with no sound. He wants to elevate the live stream of roller derby to the level of other dynamic sports broadcasts.  That passion is evident in the product he provides! He has clear communication as well as professionalism, and partners that with a can do attitude and flexibility that really shows in the quality live stream productions he provides. We received countless compliments on the quality of the live stream and were really proud to be able to provide that high level content for our fans.

The ability to provide live streaming services to our fans that are well filmed, thoughtfully narrated and showcase dynamic views of plays allows us to share our passion for roller derby with our community and dissect our gameplay for improvement in future games.
